The Gospel Story by Colors

BLACK – stands for our sin   “For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”  Romans 3:23
RED – is for the blood Jesus shed on the cross   “For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16
Blue – is for Baptism   “Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved.  But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.”  Mark 16:16
White – tells us we are now clean and forgiven   “Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.”  Psalm 51:7
Green – is for growing in the Lord   “But grow in the special favor and knowledge of the Lord.”   2 Peter 3:18
Yellow – stands for the promise of eternal life   “ … I am going to prepare a place for you.  If this were not so, I would tell you plainly.”  John 14:2
