God, I pray you will turn to me and have mercy on me, for I am alone and in deep distress. Feel my pain and see my trouble. Look down upon my sorrows and rescue me. I know you are merciful and you will not abandon me. For those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, have never abandoned anyone who searches for you. You will never fail me or forsake me. I know it is better to trust you than to put my confidence in people. For my life is precious to you. You are my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety, my deliverer. I praise you Lord, for you have shown me your unfailing love. You are my light; you light up my darkness. Even if my father and mother abandon me, you will hold me close. You will never abandon me. I know you are always with me, granting me the joy of you forever. Each day you carry me in your arms. You shelter me in your presence. I pray I will trust in you and that I will put my hope and confidence in you. For your love for me is very great.
